The Trilogy Book: A Family's Voyage of Faith
In 1969 a fateful shipwreck of Captain Eldon Coon's luxury charter boat in Southeast Alaska, changed his life and the destiny of his entire family. Through an act of faith and a pioneer's spirit, Eldon's wife, Jeannette Coon sold all of their belongings to financially support the build of a new boat. Eldon and his two adult children, Jim and Rand Coon, spent the next 2 years working around the clock, to build a 54' trimaran they named TRILOGY. Upon completion of their boat, they decided as a family to sail the Pacific in search of a new life.
This is the story of the Coon family's two year ocean adventure and how they started Trilogy Excursions in 1973, from Lahaina Harbor in Maui, Hawaii.
